The Romanian 2-PC Mess Kit is a great addition to any camper's or hiker's gear. The kit includes a pot and a lid that can also be used as a frying pan. The pot is made of aluminium, which makes it lightweight and rust-resistant. The carrying handle and lid handle are made of steel, which may show some rust over time but will not affect the quality of your food. When carried, the lid handle closes the package together, making it easy to transport. The inside of the pot has enough space to pack other items you may need when eating, such as utensils or a stove.

If you buy any of our army surplus products then all the packaging will be plastic free. With army surplus you minimise the environmental impact of producing new clothes and reduce plastic waste.
With our new items there may be plastic packing which comes from the supplier themselves.
Although we are not totally plastic free (but pretty close) our goal is to reduce our plastic waste as much as possible and will continue to do so going into the future.

If returning an item for a refund we charge £3 for the return label which is taken from the refund amount.
If you want to exchange your order please send the item/items back for a refund and make a new order for the items you would like
We accept returns / exchanges from 30 days of the order date. Items must be in original condition to be accepted for returns. A refund is given within 1-2 days of receiving the returned item.
International order must arrange thier own return postage which is non-refundable.
Ordered the 2 piece Romanian but received the 3 piece Austrian which isn't an issue as that's what I wanted in the first place but was out of stock. It's a good kit for the price. It's a little banged up. Chipped paint, the odd dint, stains. But I gave it a good clean. My only issue is the long handle. It does not lock in place when the kit is sealed up. It just flops around. I don't know if this one is faulty or they all do that but I can picture the lid popping off in my rucksack if I don't tie it together with something. Much bigger than I thought it was going to be.
