Fine German design, this foldable mat is perfect for transporting in your rucksack. Designed originally to fit in the german army rucksacks to provide a frame and also obviously to provide protection from the cold earth when sleeping.
The foam is approximately 0.7cm thick and will provide adequate padding on hard or un-even surfaces (enough to give you a good sleep anyways).
