The old style fleece jumper as part of the solider 95 system, with zipped pockets and the ribbed collar.
These fleece jumpers were originally issued in DPM but the British Army soon realised that these are to be worn underneath smocks and thus served no real purpose to provide camouflage and making them in plain olive was probably a cost cutting exercise. Well suited for military recreational usage and thus can be worn by civilians without much raising of eyebrows.
These heavy duty, warm fleece jumpers have thumb slits as well as elasticated cuffs and drawstring cord bottom to ensure minimal heat loss.
