This is the genuine issue MTP 45 litre day sack, recently issued on tours for Afghan. This bag is ideal for 2-3 days trips and patrols, with enough molle points for attaching other pouches.
The bag is made from a heavy duty 1000 denier nylon fabric, much the same stuff as the osprey vest and pouches.
The main compartment has a dry cover with drawstring closure, ensuring water doesn’t get through to your stuff. As well as twin internal storage straps for tying down a laptop or other equipment.
The lid can extend out and is not directly attached to the bag, but by straps (fully adjustable).
