Looking for a heavy-duty rucksack that can handle anything you throw at it? Look no further than the British Army 90L DPM Bergen Short Back. Made from tough cordura fabric and featuring plenty of YKK plastic zips, this bergen will make transportation a breeze – even when loaded up with all your gear. The lightweight detachable aluminium frame will take the weight off your shoulders, while the DPM woodland camouflage pattern ensures you'll blend in with your surroundings. Perfect for any outdoor adventurer.

This is an original piece of Army surplus kit and could have been used by serving personel, may have small marks or fading.

Yoke can be combined with side pouches to form a 20L day sack.

  • Good padded and firm fitting shoulder straps

    If you buy any of our army surplus products then all the packaging will be plastic free. With army surplus you minimise the environmental impact of producing new clothes and reduce plastic waste. 

    With our new items there may be plastic packing which comes from the supplier themselves. 

    Although we are not totally plastic free (but pretty close) our goal is to reduce our plastic waste as much as possible and will continue to do so going into the future.

    RETURNS / EXCHANGES FROM UK MAINLAND 

    To obtain a return label if you live on the UK mainland please CLICK HERE. If you are unable to generate a returns label please email us at orders@goarmy.co.uk. Please check your spam folder for replies from us. 

    If returning an item for a refund we charge £3 for the return label which is taken from the refund amount. 

    If you want to exchange your order please send the item/items back for a refund and make a new order for the items you would like

    We accept returns / exchanges from 30 days of the order date. Items must be in original condition to be accepted for returns. A refund is given within 1-2 days of receiving the returned item. 

    International order must arrange thier own return postage which is non-refundable.

    A good solid piece of kit. Hip belt unusually short but easily fixed.
    Simple and straight forward. Bomb proof. Great bushcrafting pack. Will be using it on the overland track Tasmania.

    Received my Short Bergen with side pockets, great price, fast delivery and although it’s been well used it’s in great condition. Used it on a training day for the FANDANCE at the weekend and was well please that even though laden with around 40lbs of kit it was really comfy and definitely ‘fit for purpose’ was also amazed at how stable it was when I ran with it (obviously downhill) its a proper piece of kit and am looking forward to the FANDANCE event with a lot more confidence after the training day using the Bergen… Would definitely recommend GoArmy.

    Arrived quickly and exactly as described. Not sure if it’s new but certainly hardly used. All zippers functioning, great storage space. Very heavy when full. Ha ha
