If you buy any of our army surplus products then all the packaging will be plastic free. With army surplus you minimise the environmental impact of producing new clothes and reduce plastic waste.
With our new items there may be plastic packing which comes from the supplier themselves.
Although we are not totally plastic free (but pretty close) our goal is to reduce our plastic waste as much as possible and will continue to do so going into the future.

If returning an item for a refund we charge £3 for the return label which is taken from the refund amount.

We accept returns / exchanges from 30 days of the order date. Items must be in original condition to be accepted for returns. A refund is given within 1-2 days of receiving the returned item.
International order must arrange thier own return postage which is non-refundable.
Good bag. Not the Lowe alpine model. But the model based on the Lowe alpine design. But works for my needs

Really impressed with both the great kit and 'GoArmy's incredible service, the bag arrived really fast and in recyclable packaging (eco warrior can you tell).
I wanted to wait till Id gone on a few days hike with it before a solid review, and after using it I was really impressed, Id previously spent £120 on an Osprey bag and after trekking Australia for 7 months it had holes in you could fit your fists through, this bag is literally half the price (albeit second hand), and I can already tell it'll stand the test of time. It already has.

Brilliant quality, would not know it was a used item but for some fading on the top flap. I love the softer harness and hip belt which is more comfortable for me than my BA Long Back Bergen with the hard convoluted padding. This model has a sternum strap which adds to the overall comfort when carrying it fully loaded with my wild camping kit. The back length can be adjusted by pulling on the buckle behind the velcro fitted lumbar pad.
The main top flap pocket has a smaller toothed zip which I find easier to use than the chunkier ones. It also has a small loop and clip inside for securing keys or other precious items.
The two strong sturdy soft webbing grab handles on the top backside and front are great and make moving the loaded Bergen easier.
I really like the velcro strap secures, for keeping the loose strap ends rolled up. So no flapping when you walk.
The two large side pouches/rocket pockets have a pair of cinch straps which I have found useful for securing wet jackets to for drying. I like the idea of the padded shoulder straps on each pouch, which can form a backpack when zipped together. I’ve jet to try it but seems ideal for carrying my gear when exploring from my camp.
The fabric looks strong and rugged as you’d expect but isn’t as rugged as the BA bergens.
Still, if you don’t mind camo print kit and a little more weight, then this Bergen will be a more economical and rugged alternative to a large capacity rucksack and the delivery and service of ‘goarmy’ can’t be faulted.
